Maui voters to receive signature cards before elections
Maui County voters will soon receive yellow voter signature cards by mail ahead of the 2026 primary and general elections.
According to the Maui County Clerk’s Office, the cards will confirm that voters are properly registered and allow residents to update the signature connected to their voter registration records.
Election officials are encouraging voters to sign and return the postage-paid cards using blue or black ink to help avoid ballot issues caused by outdated signatures.
Voters who do not receive a card may need to update their voter registration information due to an address change or move. Registration information can be checked online at olvr.hawaii.gov or by calling the Maui County Elections Division at 808-270-7749.
Officials are also asking residents who receive a card for someone no longer living at their address to write “not at this address” on the card and return it by mail to help maintain accurate voter rolls.
Additional information and a sample of the voter signature card are available at MauiCountyVotes.gov.
