Maui County has opened applications for its new Small Grants Program, offering up to $30,000 to support projects by nonprofit organizations and community groups.

Applications are due June 15, with typically one award per organization per fiscal year. Matching funds are not required, though partnerships and additional funding are encouraged.

An online information workshop for applicants will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. May 14. To register, email GrantsOversight@co.maui.hi.us.
