Average gasoline prices in Hawaii fell 11.3 cents per gallon over the past week, according to a GasBuddy survey released Monday.
The statewide average price was $5.54 per gallon, down 4.7 cents from a month ago but $1.12 higher than the same time last year.
Nationally, the average price of gasoline fell 19.5 cents per gallon during the past week to $4.26 per gallon. The national average is down 17.8 cents from a month ago but remains $1.18 higher than a year ago.
GasBuddy's survey included 355 stations across Hawaii. One year ago, the statewide average price was $4.42 per gallon, compared with $5.54 per gallon today.
