Maui County offices, facilities and services will be closed or modified July 3 in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.

Closures include all Maui County offices and pools, the Lahaina Resource Center at Lahaina Gateway, the Recovery Permit Center at the Maui County Service Center in Kahului, and the Hana, Molokai and Lanai landfills.

The Central Maui Landfill and Maui EKO Compost will be open from 6 a.m. to noon, while the Olowalu Recycling & Refuse Convenience Center will be open from 8 a.m. to noon.

There will be no schedule changes for residential trash pickup on Maui, Molokai and Lanai or for Maui Bus service.

Regular business hours for county offices and services will resume July 6.
