The University of Hawaii has expanded its Hoapili Teacher Pathways program statewide after the initiative helped more than 60 students transition into teacher licensure and education careers since launching at UH Maui College in 2023.

The program, now available across all 10 University of Hawaii campuses, offers tuition-free online courses, flexible enrollment options and support services for aspiring elementary school teachers. Classes are held online and scheduled during after-work hours to accommodate working adults.

The program is open to new and continuing UH Community College students with no prerequisites required.
