Director of Personnel Services set to retire after 30 years with county

After three decades of working for the county, Maui County Director of Personnel Services Cynthia Razo-Porter has announced she will retire, effective July 31.
Razo-Porter was appointed by the Civil Service Commission to be the director of the Department of Personnel Services in 2023. Before that, Razo-Porter served as the deputy director of the department.
Razo-Porter’s 30 years with the county include 23 years in the Department of Personnel Services and seven years in the Department of Water Supply.
