Maui County Department of Environmental Management is partnering with Aloha Recycling in Kahului to provide temporary recycling drop-off services.
Aloha Recycling at 75 Amala Place is open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The county said the temporary drop-off is being provided while it works to establish a permanent recycling site in Central Maui,
Recycling services in Kahului were closed after an agreement ended at the University of Hawaii-Maui College campus June 30.
