The Maui County Clerk’s Office opened its first Voter Service Center on Monday ahead of the Aug. 8 primary election.
Additional centers are scheduled to open across Maui County over the next week. Voters may cast ballots in person, register to vote or update their voter registration at the service centers.
The Velma McWayne Santos Community Center in Wailuku is open daily from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except Sundays, through Aug. 7.
Additional centers will open from Aug. 5-7 at the Lahaina Civic Center Social Hall, Mitchell Pau'ole Center on Molokai and the County of Maui Old Youth Center on Lanai. A one-day Voter Service Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 1 at Hana High and Elementary School.
All service centers except Hana will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Primary Election Day, Aug. 8.
Official ballot drop boxes also are available throughout Maui County and will remain open until 7 p.m. on Election Day.
