Walmart will host a free community wellness event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at its Kahului store.
The event will offer free blood pressure and body mass index screenings, pharmacist consultations and information about nutrition, healthy living, medication support and weight management.
Affordable immunizations, including vaccines for RSV, shingles, tetanus and HPV, also will be available. Flu shots will be offered at no cost to people whose insurance plans cover them.
Complimentary vision screenings and wellness sample boxes featuring snacks, vitamins, supplements and other items also will be available while supplies last.
The event is being held during the back-to-school shopping season to give families an opportunity to address health and wellness needs while shopping for school supplies.
Walk-ins are welcome, and registration is not required.
The Kahului Walmart is one of nine Hawaii stores participating in the event.
