The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Kaanapali will hold its 16th annual Fourth of July Celebration from July 1 to 6, with cultural experiences, live entertainment and family activities.

The main celebration will be July 4 at the resort at 2365 Kaanapali Parkway. Activities begin at 10 a.m. with airbrush tattoos, face painting, caricature drawings and balloon twisting. Live DJ entertainment and a barbecue on the lawn will start at 11 a.m.

The resort’s “Flowerworks” aerial orchid drop by helicopter is scheduled for 1 p.m., followed by a wings-eating contest at 2 p.m. and a keiki Jan Ken Po contest at 2:30 p.m.

The Adrian Trevino Band will perform at 6 p.m., followed by fire knife dancing at 6:45 p.m., a drone light show at 8:30 p.m. and karaoke at 8:45 p.m.
