Akakū Maui Community Media will broadcast live coverage of Hawaii's 2026 primary election from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday.
The election-night program, hosted by Rick Nava and Hawaii Journalism Initiative journalist Cammy Clark, will feature election results, conversations with candidates and Maui Nui community leaders, and discussion of local issues.
The broadcast also will include recorded interviews from the Kūhinia Maui remembrance event in Lahaina marking the third anniversary of the August 2023 Maui wildfires.
Coverage will air on Akakū channels 53, 54 and 55 and will be available through Maui Stream and Akakū's YouTube channel.
