The Maui County Department of Water Supply is asking people in the West Kuiaha and Awalau areas to continue conserving water because a well is currently out of service.
Those in the affected areas may experience low water pressure or water outages while crews work to restore service. There is currently no estimated time for completion of the well repairs.
Potable water tanks have been deployed in the affected areas to provide drinking water.
Potable water tanks, or water buffaloes, are available at:
• Hanzawa's Variety Store: Two tanks
• West Kuiaha Road: Three tanks at 1050 W. Kuiaha Road, 1436 W. Kuiaha Road and 1860 W. Kuiaha Road
• East Kuiaha Road: Two tanks at 365 E. Kuiaha Road and 700 E. Kuiaha Road
• Kula: One tank at 1525 Calasa Road
• Pakanu Street: One tank at 650 Pakanu St.
