Applications for $150,000 in grant funding for the Kahului area are due by 5 p.m. Oct. 1, according to Maui County Council member Kauanoe Batangan announced.
Eligible organizations may seek funding for local initiatives intended to improve quality of life, strengthen neighborhoods and address community-identified needs in Kahului.
Applications are expected to take at least four weeks to process and may be submitted through the Maui County Office of Economic Development at tinyurl.com/bdehytr7. Grant requirements are available at tinyurl.com/2ed5cket.
