Following modified operations on Saturday, Aug. 15, due to severe weather, Maui Economic Opportunity transportation services will resume as follows:
• The Maui Bus ADA Paratransit services resumed normal operations at 10 a.m. Sunday, August 16.
• Human Services transportation, including services in Hana, Molokai and Lanai, resumed normal operations on Monday, Aug. 17, subject to road conditions.
MEO said the agency will continue to monitor weather and road conditions and make any necessary operational adjustments to ensure the safety of riders and drivers.
“We appreciate the patience and understanding of our riders and the community as we modified transportation services in response to the severe weather,” said MEO CEO Maggie Batangan. “The safety of our riders and drivers remains our top priority, and we are pleased to resume services as conditions allow.”
