Three Maui County graduating seniors are among 10 students statewide to receive the 2026 Bayer Hawaii Life Sciences Scholarship.

The Maui recipients to receive $1,000 scholarships include Sloane Jucker of Maui Preparatory Academy, Kody Manegdeg of King Kekaulike High School and Jasmyn Yun of Maui High School.

The scholarship program is open to graduating seniors from Hawaii high schools who plan to attend an accredited college or university and pursue a discipline related to the life sciences. Bayer said it has awarded more than $195,000 in scholarships through the program to date.

"At Bayer, we know that investing in students is an investment in the future of our communities," said Alan Takemoto, Bayer Hawaii community affairs. "This year's scholarship recipients have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership and a genuine interest in furthering their knowledge of the life sciences so they can help improve lives and strengthen their communities."
