Hua Momona Foundation will hold its third annual Maui Music & Food Experience event starting at 5 p.m. Aug. 21-22 at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa.
Pounds of Kalo, John Cruz and headliner Taimane will be performing on Aug. 21. Kanekoa, Lisa Fischer, Robert Irving III, Alejandro Escovedo and LOS LOBOS will be performing the following day.
Chefs will include Zach Laidlaw as curator, Alvin Savella, Donovan Foster, Zach Sato, Taylor Ponte and Hannah Stanchfield.
The foundation’s mission is to alleviate food insecurity, accelerate the Lahaina post-wildfire rebuild and foster the youth music scene on Maui. Combining world class chefs and musicians to bring forth a celebration for everyone on Maui to attend.
