Queen Kaʻahumanu Center will host FANCON, a free gaming and fan-culture fair, from 2 to 8 p.m. Sept. 12.
The all-ages event will feature board games, role-playing games, trading card games, esports, miniature gaming and painting, cosplay, demonstrations, crafts and giveaways.
Free face painting and balloon twisting will be available from 2 to 4 p.m. HouseMart Ben Franklin Crafts will offer a crown-making activity while supplies last, and a limited number of tote bags will be distributed in Center Court.
Free Range Comedy will present a Dungeons & Dragons demonstration from 3 to 6 p.m., followed by bingo with prizes from 6 to 8 p.m.
Activities will be held throughout the shopping center, including in storefront spaces near Bath & Body Works and across from Hawaii's Finest.
