The Teran James Young Foundation will connect more than 15 Peace Poles during its second annual International Peace Day livestream from noon to 3 p.m. Sept. 21.
The livestream will feature Peace Poles on Maui, Oahu, Hawaii Island, the U.S. mainland and other locations. Peace Poles are monuments displaying the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in multiple languages.
A free in-person gathering will be held in the community room at 1727 Wili Pa Loop in Wailuku. Anthony Pfluke will perform from 1 to 2:45 p.m., and the program will include the announcement of the 2026 Maui Peace Awards.
