The Maui High School Foundation will recognize five honorees at its 15th annual Hall of Honor from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Izumi "Shine" Matsui Athletic Center on campus.
This year's recipients include Bruce Anderson (Saber Spirit Award), Jason Baum (Award of Excellence), Tia Joaquin (Inspirational Award), Carol Reimann (Spirit of Maui Award) and Ernest Takitani Sr. (Silversword Heritage Award).
The event will feature a dinner prepared by Maui High School's culinary program in partnership with OGO Maui and Chef Grant Oura, as well as a silent auction. Proceeds will support student scholarships, educational programs, athletics and other school initiatives.
