AARP Hawaii and the Hawaii State Health Insurance Assistance Program will offer free workshops to help Medicare beneficiaries review their health and prescription drug coverage for 2027.
Medicare open enrollment runs from Oct. 15 through Dec. 7, when beneficiaries can review and make changes to their coverage for the coming year.
An in-person workshop will be from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 22 at the Malcolm Center in Kihei. The program will include a one-hour presentation covering Medicare changes for 2027, eligibility, costs and benefits, followed by one-on-one assistance. Register at tinyurl.com/3n5eub5b.
A Zoom workshop also will be offered from 10 to 11 a.m. Nov. 6. Registration is available at tinyurl.com/a9ddjfzj. AARP membership is not required to attend.
