The Maui County East Maui Water Authority's governing board, the 'Aha Wai O Maui Hikina Board, will meet from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Von Tempsky Community Center in Kula.
The meeting was rescheduled from Aug. 17 due to weather and will include a community discussion on Upcountry water history featuring historic maps and information from ethnographers Kepā Maly and Kamaho'i Mather and cartographer Richard Mather of Kumu Pono Associates.
Kula residents and state Department of Hawaiian Home Lands beneficiaries are encouraged to attend.
