The Maui County Department of Finance has launched myMauiTAT, a secure online portal for managing Maui County Transient Accommodations Tax accounts, at mauicounty.gov/tat.
The portal allows account holders to make payments, view balances, receive due-date reminders and more. With a computer, tablet or mobile device, users also can view notices, correspond with the Department of Finance TAT office and update contact information and communication preferences.
Under the new system, payments by bank account are free, while credit card transactions will continue to be charged a $2.50 processing fee per TAT account number, plus 2.5% of the payment amount.
