A 37-year-old man from Maui pleaded guilty to drug dealing charges involving methamphetamine Friday in U.S. District Court in Honolulu, according to U.S. Attorney Ken Sorenson.

Douglas Taylor, who reportedly goes by "Dougiie 2 Fresh," pleaded guilty to two counts of distributing more than 50 grams of methamphetamine. Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 19 before Judge Jill A. Otake.

Sorenson said court records show Taylor agreed to sell a confidential informant meth and cocaine over the course of 10 controlled buys.

As part of his plea agreement, Taylor admitted to selling over 398 grams of methamphetamine, as well as 33 grams of cocaine from October 2024 to August 2025.

Taylor faces at least 10 years and up to life in prison, as well as a fine of up to $10 million.

The Drug Enforcement Administration and Maui Police Department investigated the case while Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeannette Graviss is serving as the prosecutor.
