The Healthy Kids Running Series kicked off its fall season Sunday at Pomaikai Elementary School.

The event is among a number of upcoming runs in which children of all skill levels are welcome to participate at their own pace in divisions divided by age. The fall series will continue Oct. 25, Nov. 1, Nov. 8 and Nov. 15.

In addition to the races, the series features fun family activities such as Maui Laser Tag, Shaka Slides Maui and Craftable Club STEM, which were among the organizations offering children's activities Sunday.

Each race runs from 4 to 5 p.m. on the school’s back field. Those interested in participating or volunteering can sign up online. For more information, visit healthykidsrunningseries.org/find-a-race/.
