1 min read

The Maui Liquor Commission is inviting public comment on proposed amendments to Chapters 101 and 102 of its rules.

The proposed changes would reorganize requirements, clarify language, eliminate duplication of state law and address outdated provisions. The amendments have not been adopted, and current rules remain in effect.

The Liquor Control Commission discussed the proposed amendments Oct. 14. The draft rules are scheduled for further consideration at the commission's Nov. 12 meeting.

The commission will accept public testimony at the meeting. The proposed and current rules are available at mauicounty.gov/liquor.

Written testimony may be emailed to liquorcommission@mauicounty.gov or mailed to the Department of Liquor Control, 110 'Ala'ihi St., Suite 212, Kahului, HI 96732. Oral testimony also will be accepted at the meeting.

Starting at /week.
