The Maui County Office of Economic Development will host a free Veterans and Military Families Resource Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Nov. 10 outside the Kalana O Maui building, 200 S. High St. in Wailuku.
The fair will connect veterans, military spouses and their families with organizations offering employment assistance, career training, education, veterans benefits, housing, food assistance, health and wellness services, childcare, financial resources and transportation assistance.
Free malasadas will be available while supplies last.
Maui Economic Opportunity Inc. will provide shuttle transportation for Hana residents. Reservations must be made by Nov. 6 by contacting Claire Carroll at 808-633-0657 or Claire.Carroll@MauiCounty.gov.
The event is presented in partnership with the Maui County Workforce Development Board and Maui American Job Center. Eligible veterans and spouses receive priority of service for qualifying workforce programs.
