Free summer meals available at 10 schools on Maui for children 18 and under
Ten schools on Maui will offer free summer meals to children ages 18 and younger on weekdays from June 9 through July 17. The Hawaii State Department of Education has announced that 74 public schools will offer the free summer meals through the USDA’s Seamless Summer Option program. Children do not need to be enrolled in public school. Participating schools on Maui include Baldwin and King Kekaulike High Schools, Iao and Kalama Intermediate Schools, and Haiku, Kahului, Kihei, Nāhiʻenaʻena, Paia and Waihee Elementary Schools.
