Workshop for commercial property owners in Lahaina historic districts coming Thursday

The Maui County Office of Recovery will host a workshop May 7 to help property owners in the Lahaina historic districts navigate the rebuilding process. The workshop will be from 3-5 p.m. at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Morgado Hall and will provide guidance for commercial property owners in Lahaina historic districts 1 and 2, as well as architects, engineers and business owners with coastal or culturally sensitive properties. Deadline extended for Office of Economic Development grant applications

The Maui County Office of Economic Development has extended the application deadline for its grant program for fiscal year 2027 to 5 p.m. May 15. The program supports projects, programs and events that create a positive and sustainable economic impact across the county. Nonprofit and for-profit organizations are eligible to apply.
