George Gregory Romena, 74 of Kahului, Maui passed away on May 8, 2016 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on May 25, 1941 in San Vicente Islands, Philippines.
George retired from the United States Postal Service as a Post Master on Lanai.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului; service to begin at 10:00 a.m.; burial will follow at Maui Veterans Cemetery in Makawao at 1:00 p.m.
George is survived by wife, Agnes Romena; son, Gregory Romena; daughter, April (Raymond) Taylor; sisters, Anita Romena, Jackie (Jr.) Balberdi; brothers, Santos (Maile) Romena, William (Rachel) Romena; granddaughter, Nathania Hotta and great grandchild, Jordan K.B.; predeceased by, brother Clemente Romena; parents- (Father) Evaristo Romena, (Mother) Josefa Romena.
