Jenabe Esslemont Caldwell, 89
Jenabe Esslemont Caldwell, 89 of Wailuku, passed away on May 7, 2016 at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu. He was born on August 7, 1926 in Montana.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 13, 2016 in the pavilion at the Maui Veteran’s Cemetery in Makawao, burial will follow.
Jenabe was a United States Navy Veteran. He was the founder and owner of a king crab and salmon cannery which he later retired from. He traveled around the world to over 70 countries to help the Baha’i communities.
He is survived by his wife, Motoko Caldwell; sons, Daniel, David, and Mark Caldwell; daughters, Layli Nottingham, Zarrin Caldwell, Manijih Baxter, Rachael Power, and Naomi Posner; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
