Rita Fernandez of Kula, Maui passed away at her residence under Hospice Maui and All Care Hawaii on May 14, 2016. She was born in Paia, Maui on June 25, 1922. Rita was a retired custodian at Makawao Public Library.
Visitation will be held at Holy Ghost Mission, Kula on May 31, 2016 from 9:00am-11:00am, Mass at 11:00am with burial to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery.
Rita is predeceased by husband, John “Wheaty” Fernandez; sons, John Joseph Fernandez and Joseph Fernandez. She is survived by son, Thomas Fernandez; daughter-in-law, Carole Fernandez; grandchildren, John (Cassie)
Fernandez, Stacie Fernandez; great grandchildren, Cayleb Fernandez and Caylee Fernandez.
