Leonora (Nora) Arka Baldovi, 83, of Kahului, passed away peacefully under the care of Islands Hospice on June 7, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Services honoring Mrs. Baldovi will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on Friday, June 24. Visitation will begin at 4:30pm, with services beginning at 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family request donation to American Kidney Foundation or Island Hospice. Aloha attire please.
Leonora was born in Waikapu on Feb. 22, 1933. She enjoyed playing the ukulele, watching Wheel of Fortune, crocheting, and playing Sakura cards.
Leonora was predeceased by her parents, Juan & Adriana Barbosa; brothers, Alfonso (Joaquin) Valiente, Alfredo (Lucy) Valiente & Lucas Valiente; and son, Richard Baldovi, Jr.
She is survived by four children, Raymond (Darnella) Baldovi, Donna (Xerre) Marzoeki, Charlyn (Lawrence) Wood & John (Robin) Baldovi; four step-daughters, Esther Baldovi, Angela Davis, Dickie-Lee Tran & Monica Baldovi; uncle, Pedro Elika; cousin, Sonny Cabrido; 25 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
