Magdalena Catalina Shimabukuro, 80, of Kahului, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born on January 18, 1936 in Puunene, Maui.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Ballard Family Mortuary, Kahului, service will begin at 7 p.m., and cremation will follow.
She is survived by her husband, George Shimabukuro; sons, Leonard (Michele) Recopuerto, Robert Recopuerto Sr., Brian Recopuerto, Mark (Silvia) Recopuerto, Dirk ( Felicia) Recopuerto, and Kent Recopuerto; daughters, Darlene (Panfilo) Bascar, Brenda (Arnel) Manegdeg, and Maria (Wesley) Sojot; 23 Grandchildren, 54 Great-Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great grandchildren.
