Ellington “Dukie” Brown, 50 & Shannon “Shaggy” Brown, 53
Ellington “Dukie” Brown, of Haiku, passed away peacefully at Kula Hospital on June 6, 2016. He was born on October 17, 1965 to Aaron CK. Brown Jr. and Lorraine Yuk Lin Brown (dec.). He leaves behind his two daughters: Chanelle K. Brown & Chanesse K. Brown, and grandson: Vincent KB Ausloos.
Shannon “Shaggy” Brown, of Haiku, passed away at his home in Texas on June 4, 2015. He was born on August 20, 1963 to Aaron CK. Brown Jr. and Lorraine Yuk Lin Brown (dec.). He leaves behind his son, Micah A. Brown.
Dukie and Shaggy are both survived by their father Aaron Brown, mother Lorraine Brown (deceased), and sisters: Poni Park, Lynko Brown, and Miya Brown. As well as, Aunty Mamo Kubo, Dukie’s 2nd Mom, Willie Brown, Shaggy’s 2nd Dad, and the vast number of cousins that are considered brothers and sisters as well.
A Celebration of Life for both brothers will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at the Haiku Community Center. Service begins at 11am, and lunch to follow. Friends and family are invited to join us to remember, and celebrate the lives of Shaggy and Dukie Brown.
