Katsuko Higa, 91
Katsuko Higa, 91, of Kahului passed away on July 25, 2016 at Hale Makua Wailuku. She was born on November 28, 1924 in Ewa, Oahu to Niwa & Kamado Yonamine.
She retired as the manager/cook of the lunch counter at Craft Drug Store. On her spare time she enjoyed making cards and also doing flower arrangements. She was a good cook and baked delicious baked goods.
Visitation will be held from 9:00am-11:00am on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Kahului Union Church. Service will begin at 11:00am. She will be laid to eternal rest at Maui Memorial Park following services at 2:00pm.

In Heaven she joins her husband Jack Higa; son Dennis Higa, and daughter-in-law Patricia Higa.
She is survived by her daughters, Joyce (Kenneth) Shimizu and Maytyle (Ronald) Kono; son, Leighton (Lynn) Higa; and daughter-in-law, Sandra Higa.
She leaves behind 7 grandchildren to cherish her memory, Stacie (Daniel) Laferriere, Cathy Shimizu, Ryan Kono, Jarrett (Kristen) Shimizu, Dina Higa, Lindsay Higa and Leila Higa. She also leaves behind 5 greatgrandchildren, Bryeana Laferriere, Behlye Laferriere, Treyton Ikeda, Mischa Shimizu and Kaien Shimizu.
