Mitsuyuki Nakao, 85
Mitsuyuki Nakao, 85 of Kula, Maui passed away on July 24, 2016 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on December 1, 1930 in Hilo, Hawaii. He was a retired carpenter and farmer. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Wailuku Shingon Mission; with service over urn to begin at 11:00 a.m.; burial to follow on Monday, August 8, 2016 at 9:00 a.m., located at Maui Veteran’s Cemetery in Makawao.
Mitsuyuki is predeceased by his wife, Margaret Nakao; brother, Kazuyuki Nakao; sister, Hatsue Haramoto; survived by daughter, Cheryle Ann (Carl) Puu; sons, Miguel (Medina) Nakao, Michael Nakao, Nathan (Annie) Nakao, Wesley Nakao; brothers, Nobuyuki Nakao, Toshiyuki Nakao, Dennis Nakao, Daniel Nakao; sister, Kikue Shigematsu; 7 grandchildren, Darrell Mitsuyuki Kawika (Amber) Puu, Michelle Mineko Leilani (Alan) Puu-Lozier, Leanne Bacay Nakao, Brian & Ryan Nakao, Noel & Miguel Nakao, Jr., 3 great grandchildren, Brice Hiranaka, David Makana o’ke Akua Puu and Scot Kawika Kim Puu-Lozier.
