Patrocinia M. Balagso, 92 of Lahaina, Maui passed away on June 19, 2016 at her residence under the care of Hospice Maui and surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 30, 1923 in the Philippines.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Maria Lanakila Church in Lahaina from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; with service to begin at 7:00 p.m.
Second day visitation will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Ballard Family Mortuary Kahului from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with prayer service to begin at 10:30 a.m.; burial to follow at Maui Memorial Park at 12:30 p.m.
Patrocinia is survived by sons, George (Eva) Balagso, Tony Balagso; daughters, Julita (Alfonso) Ibanez, Iluminada (Ruben Tadena) Sinogo; Clarita (late Juan) Mamuad, Ruby (Jesse Cabajar) Balagso; sister, Saturnina Macugay from Philippines; 12 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband, Luis Balagso; parents, Andres and Petra Macugay; son, Gany Lacuesta; brothers, Antonio Macugay, Jose Macugay, Daniel Macugay; sisters, Maria Yago, Asprin Fulgencio and Lucena Rosete.
