Tatsue “Pat” Sakamoto, 98

Services honoring Mrs. Sakamoto will be held on July 7, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Lahaina I Ward. Visitation will begin at 9:00am, with services beginning at 10:30am. She will be laid to eternal rest at Maui Memorial Park at 2:00pm.

Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.

Tatsue was born on January 5, 1918 to Yosaburo and Hisa Harimoto in Lahaina. Tatsue was a very intelligent and hard working woman, who not only cared for her family and home, but maintained several jobs throughout her life. Among them, she worked as a beautician, and an education assistant for the department of education.

Tatsue is predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years, Kazuyoshi Sakamoto; son, Alan Sakamoto; and sister, Ruth Ansai.

Tatsue leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Judith Sakamoto; and nieces, Carol Mae Ansai Ball, and Linda Ansai Hastings.
