Richard V. Godfrey, 79, of Kula, Maui, formerly of Kaneohe, Oahu, passed away peacefully on Sept.
10, 2016 under the care of Island Hospice and his loving family. He was born on June 12, 1937 in Waialua, Oahu.
Richard is survived by his wife, Rebecca F. Godfrey; daughter, Cindy (Kevin) Savage of CA; son, Rich (Queenie De Jesus) Godfrey; grandson, Chad Godfrey of Honolulu; brother, Glen K. Godfrey of NV. Richard is predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth Robertson Godfrey.
The family would like to express gratitude for the compassion and care received from Island Hospice. Private family services were held.
