Sakae “Pete” Inouye, 97, of Kahului, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2016 at Hale Makua-Kahului, surrounded by his loving family.

Services were held privately at his request. Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements.

Sakae was born on March 10, 1919 in Waikapu.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughters, Dale (Roy) Nakamura and Keri Inouye; and 2 grandchildren.
