Shirley Ann Yukiko Haunani Acoba, 66, of Kahului, passed away on September 6, 2016, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born on May 7, 1950, in Wailuku, Maui.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 16, 2016, at Norman’s Mortuary; eulogy will begin at 10:45 a.m.; prayer service will start at 11:00 a.m.; cremation will follow.
Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Helen & George Tanaka, and brothers, Gary and Ronald Tanaka. She is survived by her sons & daughters, Lisa Briones (David Willis), John & Wanda Briones, Angela Briones (Wilson Kanakaole), Steven & Tina Briones, Christina & Presco Rosete, Sherrylee & Michael Watanabe, Melanie & Fredy Vargas, Renalee Romero; brother, Glen Tanaka; 17 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
