Meyer Masato Ueoka, 96, of Wailuku, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2016 at his home with loving family by his side.
Private family services were held.
Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Mr. Ueoka was born on July 4, 1920, in Paia, Maui to Sokyo & Tomyo Ueoka.
Mr. Ueoka served proudly in the United States ARMY, was a community servant, a diver, an attorney, a state representative, and always worked hard to provide for his family.
Mr. Ueoka leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 67 years, Yukie Uekoa; son, Ladd Ueoka; daughters, Celia (Russell) Suzuki, and Jan (Garry) Kemp; and granddaughters, Chisa, Marisa, and Kanani.
