Rodney Joseph Brittain, Sr, 70 of Haiku passed away at his residence on October 13, 2016. He was born in Wailuku on October 13, 1946.
Visitation will be held at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 11:00am-2:00pm with service at 11:30am. In nichement at Maui Veteran's Cemetery in Makawao on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 1:00pm.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Vanessa; sons, Rodney "Joey" Brittain Jr, Albert "Pache" (Keni) Brittain, Kelly "Hanalei" (Dee-Dee) Brittain-Leong, Alika Brittain, Sir Charles (Brieane Gomes) Brittain; hanai son, Michael Malaczewski; daughters, Lena Devlin, Mallory (Malik Page-Stanley) Brittain; 15 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers; Fred (Toni) Brittain, Kenneth (Pam) Brittain, George (Momi) Brittain; brother-in-law, Sunao Minobe and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Fredrick Brittain and Margaret Brittain; brother, Jerome Brittain and sister, Peggy Minobe.
