Eleanor Marie Martin, 76, of Kihei, passed away on November 13, 2016 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born on August 10, 1940 in Paia, Maui.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Ballard Family Mortuary, Kahului, service will begin at 7 p.m.
Eleanor retired from the State of Hawaii, Department of Human Services where she worked as a Social Worker.
She is survived by her son, Bryce (Dolly) Suggs; daughters, Suzie (Mark) Hawkins, Wendy (Harry) Akima, Sondi (Dave) Lopes, Kye (Eric) Roan, Malia Suggs, and Kaulana Suggs; brothers, Philip "Moki" (Cindy) Martin, and Ben (Mahina) Martin; 4 grandchildren, Kona, Keawe, Crystal, and David Lee; 4 great-grandchildren, Hunter, Sofia, Damian, and Marcus.
Eleanor was predeceased by her brother, James "Sonny" Martin; sisters, Pat Martin, Dolores "Dolly" Martin; and granddaughter, Auli'i Suggs.
