Francis D. Clarke, 67

Francis D. Clarke of Lahaina, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in Lahaina.  He was born in Staten Island, NY, in 1948 and served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years from 1967-1971. Francis lived at various Air Force bases throughout the United States, Okinawa, Japan and England.  He is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Atonement in Ashbury Park.  He was an electronic technician and web page designer and later worked as a dispatcher for Middlebrook at Monmouth in Ocean and was currently working at Prison Street Pizzeria owned by his brother, Charles, in Lahaina.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 9:00am at Breakwall Beach in Lahaina (behind King Kamehameha III Elementary School).

Francis is predeceased by his parents, James Clarke and Evelyn M. Clarke.  He is survived by his wife, Janet; stepson, Jeffrey (Rose) Letts; stepdaughter, Denise (Greg) Vella; brothers and sisters, Mary Anne (Lou) Berardi, Rosealla Hoopes, Gwen (Ed) Foster, Elizabeth (Peter) Sebastian, Charles (Miriam) Clarke; 2 step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Frank was a kind and happy soul and loved to party as all of his family and friends can attest to.   He will be sorely missed by family members and friends.
