Gilbert R. Bettencourt, 76, of Maui, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2016, with loving family by his side.
Services were held privately by family.
Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Gilbert was born on November 13, 1939, in Waimea, Kauai. Gilbert worked for Pioneer Mill Company prior to retirement. Gilbert leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Gilbert S. (Cindy) Bettencourt, and Mark (Kathy) Bettencourt; daughters, Mahealani Bettencourt, and Penelope (John) Despins; 10 grandchildren, 1 hanai grandson, and 4 great grandchildren: Tasia, Olivia, Nixon and Maya.
