Shizue Yonamine, 96, of Kahului, passed away on October 29,2016 under the care of Hale Makua Kahului for 11 years. She was born on June 12, 1920 in Puunene Maui.
Shizue was retired from Maui Land & Pineapple Co.
Services honoring Shizue will be held on November 12, 2016 at Wailuku Hongwanji Church in Wailuku. Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am, services to start at 11:00am. Burial will be held at Maui Memorial Park on November 13 at 1:00.
Shizue is survived by sons, Thomas (Sharon) Yonamine & James (Betty) Yonamine; daughter, Lynn Yonamine. She leaves 5 grandchildren, Michelle Ando, Kyle Yonamine, Janice Yonamine, Wanda Yonamine-Silva & Kimberly Yonamine. She has 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Stanley Higa; sisters, Mitsuko Higa, Sadae Yamanuha, Patsy Shimabukuro > & Alice Ohta.
