Candance “Lani” Ha’aha’a Akre, 73, of Makawao, Maui, passed away on January 20, 2017. She was born on May 4, 1943, in Hana, Maui.
Lani is survived by her husband, Del-Roy “Ron” Akre; son, Thor Akre; daughters, Kaulana Merrill, Evika (Darrin) Amadeo; Stepson, Michael (Lorene) Hocking; brother, George (Aida) Kaauamo; sister, Adrien “Noelani” (Ely) Alconcel; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and 2 hanai grandsons.
