Ricardo Joseph “Ricky” “Boysing” Carpio
Ricardo Joseph “Ricky” “Boysing” Carpio, 75 of Kaneohe, Oahu passed away January 9, 2017 at Island Hospice in Kahului. Ricky was born March 27, 1941 on Oahu and raised on Maui. He retired from Miyake Concrete and later worked for Valley Isle Building Supply.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Charlene Chang Carpio; daughter, Renette Ann Leimomi Carpio; sons, Edwin Michael Kimo Carpio (Debbie Muth), Robert Kaleo Nobriga (Joyce), Ryan Kaipo Nobriga (Julie Iinuma); sister, Betty Ann Nakanelua; brother, Albert “Dede” Carpio (Myrna); grandchildren, Danica Nalani Carpio, Amber Kawena Nobriga, Lauren Kau’ikealani Nobriga; mother of Renette and Kimo, Roseline Carpio; and a most loving ohana and many long-time friends. Ricky is predeceased by his father, Byron Carpio; mother, Gloria Entilla Carpio and brother, Herman Carpio Sr.
A Memorial Service will be held at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 9:00am-12noon with service at 11:00am.
