Rita Cabral Leval, 87 of Wailuku, passed away on December 22, 2016 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was born on April 17, 1929 in Puunene, Maui.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2017, at St. Anthony Church in Wailuku. Mass will begin at 11 a.m. and burial will follow at 1 p.m. at the Maui Veteran's Cemetery in Makawao.
Rita is survived by her sons, Lester, Robert, and Clifford Leval; daughters, Jeanette Leval, Annette (Gary) Perreira, and Lisa Leval; sisters, Helen Cordeiro, and Theresa Nunes; 18 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, George Leval; son, Gerald Leval; and grandson, Kenneth Perreira.
